And finally, step one has been taken. Chris Brown has finally broken it off with his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
Brezzy publicly revealed this after so much speculation about his hooking up with RiRi (although he didn't say they are back together). The pair were seen again together at the Jay-Z concert at the Brooklyn Barclays Center on Wednesday.
He said in a statement: 'I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna.'
He continued: 'I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.'
Karrueche posted a tweet last night which read: 'Bye baby.'
