NDLEA nabs 2 with cocaine at Lagos Airport

Two suspected drug traffikers  were caught by operatives of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.
The suspects were apprehended for concealing 2.560 kilograms of cocaine in their travel luggage.

The suspects whose names were given as Emole Kennedy Uka,32 was found with 1.335 kilograms and Obi Ezenwa Tochukwu,31 was found with 1.225 kilograms of narcotics. They were arrested when attempting to board a Turkish Airline flight to Turkey.

A statement released quoted Uka, who lives in Togo as saying, "I smuggled the drugs because i have heart problem and needed money for medical treatment. I am a trader in Togo, i sell shirts. This is my 1st time of dealing in drugs. I hail from Abia State and would have been paid the sum of 4,000 dollars if i had succeeded.
